Well, I have the second to last 17" PowerBook Apple released (January 2005 revision), meaning I missed out on some goodies like the DL Superdrive, option for a 7200RPM hard drive, the brighter screen, and the huge battery life boost. What I'm wondering is whether anyone has replaced the HD in this kind of PB with a 7200RPM one, because I'm wondering how much of a hit the battery life would take. If anyone has some experience in this area, it would be helpful. Thanks a bunch.
