i dont know if this is the right place to post this, if its wrong sorry....
i want to install a little more ram on my macbook would this be ok?

The macbook uses DDR2 667mhz RAM. That memory that you linked WILL NOT work.

Try http://newegg.com for good pricing on after market ram.

That is not the correct ram. You need 667mh DDR2 Ram, I believe it is 5200. Go to Crucial.com, and use their configuration helper to pick the right ram.

Speaking about RAM, do you absolutely have to have matched pais of RAM, or do they work just as well being mismatched?

No but its alot better, and Highly recomended, I have a 256 and a 1gig and it works.
