Macbook - Gaming on a MacBook

so, im itching to get a game to have on my macbook and i was looking at civ IV or maybe sims 2. can ne one tell me how those have run on their macbook cause i kno as a result of the shared graphics card the macbook is a horrible gaming machine. so just post some opinions on performance or even on the games. i just want to get some first hand info from you guys.

I play Sims 2 on my Macbook and it works fine for me. I have 1GB of RAM which surely helps.
