iBook - need help with clamshell logic and hard drives.

Hey folks, i'm having a problem with some of my logic boards. after i put a hard drive in and get it put back together i go to do a install of 9.2 and it's not reading the HD, the hard drives are good. is there a way around this? are the logic boards just crapped out? someone help!!!!! by the way these are 466mhz clamshell logic boards

for the love of god can someone help!!!!!! these things are really starting to **** me off, as soon as i get one together i go to install os9 and it can't find my darn HD someone help me find it. any help would be greatly appreciated and will save my sanity.

Do you mean when you boot the machine the disc doesn't mount on the screen?

when i go to install os9 from the cd it won't see the HD.
