This morning my woman updates her software on her new macbook. Well tonight she wanted to get online and I look at her menu bar and there's no airport symbol. Further investigation yields the fact that her computer isn't even recognizing her aiport card. She was updated to the latest versions of internet connect among other applications.
Anyone have any clue as to what might have caused this. As of right now we're using her tiger CD to reinstall.

Same thing happened to my iMac Intel 17". It's only 2 weeks old. I'm taking it to the apple store right now.

I'm back. They were booked and didn't help. I came home, repaired permissions, shut it down for a while and now it's fine and dandy. Try it.
