Macbook - Macbook 3 year warranty

Hello everyone. As some of you already have read I just purchased a Macbook however I did not purchase the 3 year warranty. How long do I have to purchase this extended warranty ???

good Q, I think u can get it whenever, but you gotta have the receipt with you, because say u buy it a year after u purchase ur laptop, it will have 2 years on it instead of 3....

You have to buy it before your initial year warranty runs out.

Yup. You have one year from the date of the original purchase.
However once you buy it within the year, the warranty covers not from the date you purchased the extended warranty, but the day you bought your macbook.
I did not buy the warranty with my macbook either. Figured give it 2-3 months, and see how the support is. Most likely though I will purchase the extended warranty in about 2 and half months.
