I've completely updated my software and still I can't get the internal speakers to work - they are detected but no output is allowed.

A few months ago before updating I was told it was a software fault which also kept the infra red light on - any idea what might be wrong?

I'm still stuck with no sound! Anyone else have similar problems?

If I conect my external speakers it works - but when I removed the jack plug the infra-red light is still on and the internal speakers don't work.

Very peculiar.
QUOTE Thanks
