I was just wondering if it was normal for the optical drive(CD-RW, DVD ROM) on a Macbook to be quite loud when loading. It isnt extremely loud, but if I were to use it in a coffee shop I might get scowls.

I just wanted to know if that was regular or if mine has a problem. if its mine it is just the load mechanism and would need the drive replaced.

Thanks

Matt
