PowerBook - Lost Display

i have an I book G4 os x tiger. anybody can help me on this thing? i woke up my ibook from sleep then it lost its display suddenly. now its flashing alternating colors, green gray , red, blue, black etc. i am using an external monitor connected to my ibook to access the net many thanks mate!!!

sounds like the connector is loose.. i had a friend with a g3 pb, hers did that. i took it apart and re-inserted the connector and it worked.. either that or your graphics card is fried, but since an external monitor works your graphics card should be fine
