MacBook Memory and Gaming Performance

I was wondering if someone could tell me if you upgrade your RAM to 2GB, will it improve the gaming abilities of the MacBook. Also, can someone tell me about their gaming experience on the MacBook, b/c i have to sell my video game systems to pay for the MacBook and I'm a little bit hesitant to give up video games completely.

No, I don't believe so. MacBooks aren't really for gaming, since they don't have an ATI Graphics card, which would allow it to play more "graphic-heavy" games. If you want a Macintosh Laptop with gaming abilities, get a MacBook Pro.

Can you change out the video card, cause the pro is just too dang expensive!

i believe it is soldered to the logic board, so technically you cant change it.

if you really want to make the switch i say you should wait until you can afford the MBP and then switch
good luck
