Hi there
Could somebody please tell me what kind of difference there would be with 512mb RAM and 1GB? I will be using the macbook for surfing the internet, probably multiple programs running at once and for media (music, videos, music/movie editing etc). What kind of Ram am I looking at?
Thanks Very much

With the ram demands of Mac OS X, coupled with the current day and age of technology, 1GB should be the minimum used in Macbooks, with 2GB being fantastic.

Get the 1Gig RAM.Sure it'll cost abit more now, but you will only regret not doing it in a year or so. You are spending quite abit of money on the laptop, so make it future proof, and you wont get frustrated not being able to run more than a few apps simultaneously.

There's not a day that goes by I don't wish I hadn't opted for extra RAM when purchasing my iBook. So when the day comes I invest in a Macbook, I wont hesitate.

I doubt you'd ever regret it

Upgrade...512 almost sounds rediculous to me now. 1gb will son be standard anyhow..
