After waiting 9 days for my new iBook to arrive, it packed up after boots and 50 minutes running. It simply switched off without warning and wouldn't reboot - despite having a fully charged battery and a working AC power supply.

A call to Mac Tech Support showed I seem to know more that they do... God help us all! neye: I removed the battery and relocated it, although it was sitting perfectly in the first place. All seems to be well now. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come?

Cheers

Use it as much as possible to pick up any problems. Did you buy applecare? I would on a laptop. There are some good deals out there. I just got mine on ebay for 1/2 the retail price.
I normally don't buy extended warranties on anything but I figured I had better with the laptop.
QUOTE Thanks
