my ibook cannot recognize my card reader and 2 gig sd card!

Hi!

I need some expert advice! My card reader for some strange reason is not being recognized by os x panther when i put in my 2 gig card, however it does recognize my smaller 256 mb card.

what should i do?

It might be the card reader....I saw a Card Reader at frys electronics the other day that only worked with cards up to 256mb... Id try a different reader, and if that doesn't work, then you'd know it might be an OS problem.

it's not the card reader b/c on windows xp it did read the 2 gig card. this sucks! lol

Could be the drivers supported in Panther as opposed to maybe Tiger.
