I just changed the battery charge card in my Powerbook G3 (wallstreet) and now when I boot up, I get the very dark screen. It seems to come back when I boot it and leave it alone for a few min. But I'm not sure what I have to set back, because it didnt do it at all before changing the card. Also the date and time were off...but I'd assume that would be because of the card itself. Anyways, any help w/ the screen issue would be great!
Thanks. |

The screen actualy doesnt come back to normal after letting it sit after boot. It happened maybe once or twice, but now it just stays dark. I knew this was a problem with later versions of OS X being installed on the G3 Powerbooks, but does anyone know what might've caused this to happen?.. Just from changing the battery charge card. I double-checked the two video cables, from the display, to make sure they were in tight, and they were, so i don't know what the deal is.
