sorry but quite new at mac's

did some web search tryed to read as much as possible but can't seem to find a asnwer to my prob.

Am a Pc user for quite a while now.

got a very good deal on a mac

need to reformat the OS have a mac 10.1 os CD

but it won't install !!!

How do i reformat everything ?

complete purge the info and start from a fresh copy ???

Any info welcomed

Something is wrong with your OSX install disks I would think. Normally it is a simply a matter of inserting the OSX boot disk and following the instructions on the screen,

You can get install disks for OSX on ebay for a pretty decent price, this is where I got mine. If you have all the disks you should have 9 cds. Mine were all original disks in original package and include all original papers etc. I got these for a iMac but they will also work with the iBook without problems, I do have a iBook that I just bought but it already had OSX installed (along with 9.2).
