    Specs:
    Macbook Pro 15" 2ghz/2GB/250gb/SD - White Macbook 2.16ghz/2.5GB/250GB/SD
    12" ibook External Screen Resolution?
Ok, so I plug my 12" ibook into my flat panel with the mini-vga to vga adapter, it picked up the display just fine and stuff, but had the resolution set to 1024x768.

Is there a way to change it to go smaller in resolution for the external flat panel?

I don't think you can do anything higher res than that without the screen spanning patch.

I believe this is what you are talking about...

Note: Make sure you look at the specs on your iBook as this will not work and could even damage some models with ATI Rage based video cards. I have used a version of this on my iMac though and it worked rather well.

Well the patch works with my ibook. I'll be testing it later on after I finished some installing.

    Thanks for the link.
