My iBook which is only three months old on the bottom corners of the screen are lighter than the rest. Its still under warranty but I don't want to send it in because I would have to be without a computer. Has this happened to anyone else?

I think this is pretty common. I found that if I get the screen at exactly the correct angle you don't notice it.
