I'm using Firefox on an MBA (Mavericks) was wondering if there is a way to increase the font size on the tabs and on the various bars? Thanks for any advice.

It may be possible by using the "TinkerTool" app which has options to increase the font size for menus and tool bars. However, sometimes the results can lead to distortion and other anomalies. You'll just have to try it out to see if the result is satisfactory. BTW, TinkerTool is a free application.
