    Help!Big problems with my iBook!
    Hey,

Ok, here we go.... if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it.

Im having alot of trouble with my iBook G4.....
I tried adding to the iTunes library durind the week from a dvd of tunes that I had... Ok... most of them went well.....

It got to a particular song and it said "determining file size"

Now, everytime I open iTunes it runs through some of the songs I imported and it says "determining file size for song XYZ" ........

I really dont want to have to reinstall my OS to fix this.... I updated iTunes... stil no luck!....

Has anyone got any idea of what could be up with my iBook? I really need to get it sorted soon....... I have so much saved on my iBook... I dont want to have to go doing a fresh install.....

    neye: neye: neye:

If anyone knows anything please letme know.

Re-Installing the OS should be the last thing you do..

Have you installed any applications recently?

ixnay on the installyay. PC think has no place in the Way of Macintosh.

I dunno the answer, but just wondering.
    * is it always the same songs?
    * how did these songs get into your library: via iTunes interface or direct file copy?
    * what format are these files?

Might be like what happen to me with FCP.

It would crash each time i launched it because of a file i had imported. I deleted the file from the folder, and it worked fine.

Try deleting the songs and launch it.
