I need Help

OK well recently i had accidentaly removed the space bar... it was lengthy but i was able to restore it...

Short there after my computer ( an i book) will not turn on..well the screen does not appear as if it were on but the computer itself is on...and if it does show the screen ( rarely ) it starts to blank out..go black..fliker..makes black lines..and total freeze doing this

I have never heard of anything even close to this..

any suggestions are welcomed

Not sure this has everything to do with your space bar...
Try taking it to the nearest Apple Store of phone them up, they are always friendly and helpful. How long have you had the iBook?

Have you got AppleCare, anyway it shouldnt have broken so just take it to the Apple Store and say it just didnt boot up (Dont mention the Space Bar!)

Try to restore your system by starting it up from a CD.

it wont even boot up past that.. the screen wont light up

Then its probably a hardware problem, if you cant even boot from a disk. have your tried holding 'S' down? open up in single user mode.. if that works then theres hope for software, else your ibook is a fry.
