Deletion of a template deletes all documents made with it?
I recently updated a template I created. I then deleted the old one so as not to get confused by it. Now, I cannot find a year's worth of documents using that template. Is it possible that deleting the template deleted all the documents made with that template?! Surely this can't be?

No, it can't be -- unless you were storing your documents as templates, I suppose ...
