can you use the mini display port out to a 3d external monitor? id like to get a new led or lcd monitor and 3d would be ideal, but I only have a macbook pro 7,1

Name some specific 3D monitors you are interested in...and we may be able to provide some answers. As things stand now...the question is too general.
