thinking about a protective key pad cover. suggestions on which one. are you still able to fully close your lid with them.

Are you looking at one of those silicone overlays?

I have this one:

I could close the laptop just fine, unfortunately, typing with it on was quite a chore, so I threw it out. I can't imagine the cheaper/generic ones are any better.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
