hi everyone, does any one know if the latest powerbook 15 inch has the horizontal line issue with the screen. not the macbook. i plan on getting one soon.

Yes, they have the lines. There are reports over on the Apple Discussions that they're thinning out, though. Less and less are being shipped with the lines.

I try to Command+Shift+/ when I can.

I just bought mine from the Apple Store in Jacksonville, FL 2-3 months ago and I haven't noticed any lines on mine. First time I heard of it till now...which you know they wasn't going to fill me in on that at the Apple Store
