The Macbook Air's were updated earlier this year, and there is a strong rumor generating around the announcement of the new iPhone in September, so the MBP's might get announced then or perhaps in October..

The MBP's are due for their yearly refresh, but it's impossible to know exactly when they'll be available until Apple announces them..

What is a MD101? There won't be another conference until next year. So the announcement for any refreshes might happen at other events or just happen..

OK, I've not heard that before..anyway..the way Apple usually deals with a new release of their product line is to dwindle down current inventory and then start-up again with the new product line..

If they were to continue to sell 2 generations of the same product, the older generation would get a price drop. The Macs usually don't work that way..

What is your budget for a MBP?
