Max SATA speed in mid-2007 MBP?
    Hello-

I know my model MBP only has SATA 1 (1.5 Gb/s) which is supposed to come out to be about 150 MB/s. However, iStat menus shows a max of ~75 MB/s after installing a SSD. Is this normal? Why isn't it fully saturating the channel? I have nothing to compare it against.

    Thanks.

    Specs:
    iMac, i7 4GHz, 32GB memory, 1TB PCI-e storgae StOS X.13.3
Qucik question. SSD in caddy or optical drive position?
Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
