Changing to SSD?I am considering changing the HDD for an SSD on my MBP 13 2010. I upgraded from 10.6.8 to 10.8.4. Not a clean install, an upgrade.
Will I be able to do a clean install from rthe USB key I created?
I back up using CCC.John.

I don't see why not. And having a CCC backup is a good idea.

Cheers for the prompt reply CH.
All I have to do now is work out if I can afford the 8 Gb upgrade as well. Crucial seem to have a good price, just over 200€, and I have been pleased with their service and their kit before..John.

Crucial and OWC are the two suppliers of memory that we most recommend. I've been buying from OWC for years and have never received a bad module.
