Hi.
Does anyone know if I can use a superdrive out of an iMac in a 13" Macbook?

Looking to buy off eBay and has the same part number (85JCA) and appears to be the same but Im not sure if theres some sort of difference. Both well out of warranty so no issues there
Thanks

Check with the ifixit web site and see if the mounting and the way the drive fits are the same for your MBP and the iMac. Since the part numbers are the same, the drives are probably interchangeable but it pays to make sure first.
