hi all i am a new member to this forum and i has a question

i have a 13inch 2011 macbook pro with 2.3ghz i5 and 16GB RAM

i want to upgrade my macbook pro to a SSD and a HDD i currently have a 320GB HDD and i want to keep all my data.

the SSD will be for applications like photoshop and final cut + more and i want to boot from it as well.

i will be putting a 1TB HDD in it as well for all my other stuff.

Question 1
can i put boot camp on the 1TB HDD?

Question 2
is there away to set up my macbook like i want it but keep all my data?

Question 3
will the SSD help with rendering i do a lot of video editing for work so need a faster prosesing time?

sorry for all the questions all in one go

thanks willnok

No, Windows will only boot from the internal drive not from the drive you place in the Optical slot.

Sure. Just use Time Machine to make a backup or cloning software. (Carbon Copy Cloner $40.00)

No. The SSD has nothing to do with CPU speed and graphics which are the two components that are primarily used in video editing and processing. An SSD will give you faster reads and writes and boot up.
