Hello,

Apologies in advance if this is a silly question but how can I verify whether my iBook has built in FireWire as I'm thinking of purchasing the new Tiger OS.

Specifications: PowerPC G3 800MHz, 640 MB Ram, 30 GB HD

Thanks

Look on the left side of the iBook and see if it has one of these.

yes, you ibook does have firewire. All ibooks 500mhz+ have it built in. And yes, it will work with tiger.
