Please forgive me in advance...I'm running PC right now, but I'm going to switch to Mac no matter what! I'm sick of windows always messing up. Anyway I've got my heart set on a 12" PowerBook, but since the new MacBook came out I've been trying to find out if there are plans for a 12" MacBook. Can anyone give me any insight. Thanks.

There probably will be 12" & 17" models, but when exactly nobody knows.
Also it's unclear whether the 12" model will be a macbook pro or if they will only release a successor to the 12"iBook and drop the 12"powerbook altogether.

If thats the case then would I be better off getting the powerbook instead of the ibook? I mean how much better is the powerbook to the ibook? Thanks.

Not much better: Slightly faster processor, digital video out (DVI) vs. Analog (VGA), slightly slimmer and lighter.
But I'd wait until April, to see if they release an iBook successor.
