i can't seem to get it to run

acording to apple site my machine dose needs it. (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303035) i have the latest PowerBook5,8. but when i try to run the battery updater it tells me to "plug in a 65 watt power lead". has any one else had this problem?
