I've had my ibook for a few days and i've noticed that it tends to run a bit hot. I then realized that i don't recall ever hearing a fan start up. Is the fan just super silent, or does this sound like the beginning of a problem? I'm a noob to macs, so any help is appreciated.

go dust it out, but the fan usually kicks in at about 65c. go get this widget: http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashb...nicpuheat.html and if that goes over 67c without the fan kicking in, something might be wrong.
QUOTE Thanks
