Hey, I was wondering, do the new iBook G4's have cooling systems? i.e. a fan? I've noticed that there is a small vent next to the I/O ports on the left side of the exterior, is that a fan? I'm wondering this because I have yet to see any other ventilation openings on the computer, and since the processor gets to as high as 1GHz, it must need more cooling than just a breeze passing through the inside....

Most definitely, and although I havent tested one of those systems, Im pretty sure there is a combination of the vent that you see, plus through the keyboard area, and then the bottom, although you can't really tell, should be concave to allow airflow underneath your laptop when set on a flat surface.
