13" MBP i7 Battery and Heat
I have a brand new MBP 13" i7 purchased 2 days ago. I feel like the battery is not lasting anywhere as long as it should. I've been on battery for about 1/2 hour now and I'm at 75% and it's saying about 1:45 remaining (was at 100%, screen is somewhat dimmed, default power save options). I'm doing basic web browsing. I was under the impression that the battery would be lasting close to 7 hours, not 2.
Also, the bottom of the machine seems to be VERY hot- to the point where I can barely keep it on my lap. I just switched from a Dell notebook and I thought that was bad.

    Specs:
    MacBook Pro 15" 2.8 GHz
Run Activity Monitor, it's in your Utilities folder, and check for any applications using excessive CPU activity. Should always be the first thing to check with this problem.
