    Specs:
    Mac Mini Core i7 2012 | White 2009 MacBook 2 Ghz | 733 Mhz G4 Quicksilver
You just swap the drives out, there are no drivers to figure out

Swapping a drive between 2 macpros should just work

    Specs:
    Imac 27" Retina 5K, 512GB Flash Storage, 3.3Ghz, 16GB memory, OS X.11.5.
Think he means MacBook Pros. Still same advice but watch those SATA cables. They do get quite brittle and easily fracture.
Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
