Hey guys, I have a 13" june 2012 MBP and I was wondering if these have the ambient light sensor since the lighting doesn't seem to change whether I am in a dark room or not. Thanks!

It should be built into the machine - activated through the iSight. Check your settings in System Preferences, Energy Saver.
