Problem Installing New Ram on a Macbook Pro
Hi guys! I've had some trouble installing new memory on a Macbook Pro that I'd really be appreciative if anyone could shed some light on! I've put it into a picture just because I think that it will help to demonstrate the problem in a clearer way.

    Thanks for reading

In case anyone is reading it looks like somehow it is the wrong type. Apparently generic memory seldom works in Macs... ugh

I've just purchased again from a different place.

You're right. It's the wrong type of memory. (notice the number of chips on the new modules compared to the old modules) It would probably work in a PC notebook but Macs are more particular.
