As I recently posted, I am a newbie to the MAC world. I've got a quick question. We use a lot of PowerPoint and MediaShout during our youth services to project verses, pictures, .mpegs, etc.
On my Windows laptop I could simply extend the display on to the s-video connection and have PowerPoint display the show on that extended desktop. I tried doing this last night with my PowerBook but I could not find a way to extend the display. All I could get it to do was throw the image of my regular desktop on the screen. Thanks for any help or advice... -Youth Pastor |

Did you go into System Preferences, Display and click 'Detect Displays' when the PBook was hooked up to the projector/TV via SVideo with it turned on?
Also try hitting F7, it could be that the display is simply mirroring. F7 switches between mirroring and extended desktop. Vicky |
