Hey guys,

I've been having a problem with my trackpad. The 'click and drag' doesn't work very well. When i click and then drag a file to a folder, it just 'drops' in the wrong place by itself. I don't know why this is happening. I cleaned the Trackpad for any grease etc.

Also, i can use the three finger gesture to move windows and i can click with one finger and drag with the other. The only thing that's not working is when i do it with one finger.

It sounds like your trackpad might need some adjustment. My wife's had the same problem. If you have the removable battery type 13" macbook pro, this is easy enough to adjust. Just take off the bottom cover, and take out the battery. There is a little screw under the trackpad (I think it's a tri-wing but a torx screw driver will work fine). Turn this little by little, replace the battery, try it again. It will be a lot of hit and miss until you find something you like.

With the built-in battery macbooks, this is slightly more difficult. Apple doesn't want you to remove your battery, so getting to the screw under the trackpad is a little more difficult. Try at your own risk.

Here is an image of the screw I'm talking about. This one actually looks like a Torx, but I think the newer ones are tri-wing.

Take care,
