Hello,
I have a mid 2009 MBP 13" that my hard drive was running out of space, I had recently upgraded the ram to 8gb and my hard drive up to 750gb, right after I swapped the hard drive with super duper all was good but after a short while I noticed that all my apps would shut down.

The computer still stays on but safari, mail, and what ever else is open all shuts down and I have to reopen them all.

Now my question is can it be that the new Seagate 650 GB hard drive be defective?

Should I install my old hard drive to see if thats the issue?

And also what is the largest 9.5mm hard drive that I can install, is there a 1 TB available.

Thank you in advance for all your help.

Ray

is it possible that my Western Digital hard Drive WDC WD6400BPVT is causing my open apps to shut down, my computer has been running extra hot since i swapped from the original hard drive,

I also have 8 ram installed but that was prior to the hard drive with out any previous issues.

can it be a virus causing it.

is the Samsung Spinpoint 1tb a better hard drive.

what is the best rpm for he hard drive that my mbp can use.

thank you

i reinstalled my stock hard drive and computer runs perfect, except that i only have 10gb remaining.

is the Seagate Momentus XT 750 GB HDD any good,

can i use a interface stat 6GB/s ncq on my mid2009 mbp, i thought 3 gb was the max.

also i am already using 8gb ram
