Hi there!

I wonder if someone can help me with this: I've got a 13" MacBook Pro, the simplest model. I recently discovered I'm surprisingly running out of storage space, something really weird as I'm a translator and I mainly work with word documents and very light audio files.

If I check my hard drive, the partition "Macintosh HD" shows up 133,91 GB of files called "Other".(I attach a screenshot, HD1), but I have not a clue what they are or where they come from.

If I run a visualization software such as WhatSize, it can see that my hard drive is almost full, but in the breakdown showing each folder's size (screenshot HD2), these folders only add up 90 GB, even if I scan the system as user. Other applications, such as CleanMyMac, delete a few MBs here and there but nothing else happens.

I have manually checked the info for each one of my folders in this partition and they are all pretty light, there's nothing like 133 GB showing up anywhere.

Does anybody have a clue what those files could be? Can anyone recommend another application to fully scan my hard drive, including hidden files or whatever temp files those GB could be?

I am pretty lost with this one.

Thank you very much in advance!

xx
