I have a fairly new macbook air - maybe three months old. My wife and I use google video chat all the time and it has worked great until the other day when it started flashing red and green when using video chat (here is a video of the symptoms Red and Green Flashing Macbook Air Screen During Google Video Chat - YouTube ).

Facetime works fine, it is just gchat that does not work. I have restarted, reinstalled the chat software, but no avail.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Yes it is fixed... but my replies get moderated here for some reason. We will see if this one works.

So the fix is (if it will let me post this):

Got to mail SETTINGS in Gmail, go to LABS and enable Enhanced Video Chat, restart browser, and voila!

Helps out the PC's too!
