If one GB (Gigabyte) equals 1,000 MB (Megabyte) and I have around 20+GB of free space. How come The Sims 2 Bodyshop keeps saying:

The Sims 2 BodyShop requires 1 MB of free space.

This is very frustrating. What am I doing wrong?

Are you running it from a disk image?

Assuming this is a downloaded app, if it came in a disk image, you'll need to drag it into your applications folder first.

My fiance figured it out. I was trying to open Bodyshop directly from the disc. He says I should be opening it in the finder.

Whatever...

Thanks for your help though.
