Suddenly I don't need to click anymore hovering over a link or a file opens it. What makes this really bad is hovering in the wrong place over an e-nail that I am in the process of writing sends it. Can anyone tell me what to do about it? Thanks! Susan

Hi

Open System Preferences, go to Trackpad and then the Point and Click Tab.

Uncheck the "Tap to Click" box.

This means you will have to apply sufficient pressure to the trackpad to initiate a click, rather then just a gentle touch which is sufficient with the box ticked.

You're welcome.

My sister showed me how to change the settings a while back
