Hi all, I bought a lot of 4 PB G3's off of ebay and I'm having a problem with the two Pismos. I have the correct power supply, but I'm not getting any power (no lights at all) to the machines. Is this a bad PMU, or is there something else that could be causing this problem?

have you tried resetting the PMU? it doesn't take long at all. go read the instructions in the iBook forums.

edit: To reset the PMU, hold down “Shift-Control-Option-Power “.

Tried that, still nothing, no chime no lights no sound at all. Any thing else you can think of?

well since they have no warranty, maybe take it apart and see if the power connector is broken or something.

Tinkered around some more, found out that the cpu card in one of them was bad, so I swapped them out and it chimed to life. Only problem is the LCD is cracked in this unit, so I'll have to swap it out with the other machine. Looks like I'm going to home depot tomorrow morning for a T8 torx, thanks for your help.
