My screen is showing an inverted image. I found that to correct this problem I need to press Control+option+command+8
Is this the following combination:
second key from left (marked ctrl) + third key from left (marked alt and option sign) + third key from left (marked cmd and commend sign) + * on the number key

I tried the above combination but it did nto seem to work.
Any help appreciated

Press those four keys simultaneously. That should work. If not open System Preferences and go to the Universal Access preferene pane. I don't remember the exact wording of the option but it is in the "seeing" section of the pane.

Thanks for that. I contacted the MAC repair shop and apparently my problem is more serious and will require hospitalisation....
