    Can't empty Wastebasket
    Dear Members

Help please. I've got over 6200 files in the wastebasket which I can't delete as it states some of them are locked. I've tried everything from deleting the unlocked files to trying to identify the ones causing me a problem but the no avail.

The wastebasket deletion window closes after about 5 seconds

I have a Mac book air with Lion 10.7 OS

    Help please

    Thanks

    Paul

    Specs:

Open up Terminal (/Applications/Utilities/) and enter the following (copy and paste this):
    Code:
    sudo rm -rf ~/.Trash/*
Press enter, enter your password (it won't show up while you're doing this) and press enter again.
