A shelf fell off of my wall and landed on my new macbook pro (md313ll/a) and did ZERO damage to the glass or to the outer aluminum shell. The LCD needs to be replaced, but supposedly that is near to impossible to do. I have a friend who will put on a new clamshell but I have no idea where to find one besides on craigslist or ebay. Does anyone have any ideas?

Please let me know.

Thank you!

You can try DV Warehouse - refurbished & used mac computers, professional video editing equipment, used apple computer parts. there are a few Apple parts stores online kicking around.

think i found it;

Macbook Pro (A1278) 2.53 ghz w/ 4gig Ram, 320 gig HD
Mac Mini (A1283) 2.52 ghz / w 4 gig ram, 120 gig SSD, LaCie 2TB D2-Quad (x2)

Mac Pro (A1289) 2x2.26 Quad-Core Xeon w/12gig ram, 1TB (x2)

Thank you for your reply, however I am not talking about the topcase with the keyboard and trackpad. I am talking about the glass cover, LCD, and aluminum backing with the light up apple. I realistically only need the LCD replaced but cannot find anyone to do it for an affordable price
