Is my Ibook G4 hard drive gone ?

After even safe mode login, I get the Blue screen. I held the ⌘ and S key, then at command line, /sbin/fsck -fy and the result gave no apparent errors. But still Blue screen...

I do not have any recovery disks. Is it worth it to pursue these ? Where ? (see my specs below).

Aside from the command referenced above, are there any other diagnostics to run from the command line that would difinitively identify the issue ?

It's possible that your HD has died. You best bet would probably be to pick up some install disks so that you can run the Apple Hardware Test to confirm.

That seems about right. You have a few options get a new hardrive or get a new mac
